Kashan handmade carpet is one of the oldest and most beautiful Iranian handmade carpets. Carpet weaving flourished in Kashan and Isfahan, especially during the Safavid period, and many artists in these areas turned to carpet weaving.
Lotus flower or Shah Abbasi flower is one of the most famous elements used in the carpets of these areas, which are connected by narrow curved lines.
But the interesting and unique case in this carpet, which is due to the weaver's creativity, is the deformation of the medallions in the middle of the carpet and its division into four parts and the transfer of each to the four sides of the carpet.
